Terms and Conditions

Please read our Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully. By making a purchase you are confirming that you have read the Terms and agree to be bound by them. These Terms together with the items listed in paragraph 2 below, constitute a contract between you (the client) and us (Slice Republic Limited trading as Slice Studios and which may also be referred to simply as Slice hereafter).

​1. INTRODUCTION

All classes, courses and workshops are supplied by Slice Republic Limited (whose registered office is 22 Sherwood Park Road, Sutton, SM1 2SQ and whose company number is 07964923), trading as Slice Studios, subject to the following express Terms. In these Terms “we”/”us”/”our” means Slice Republic Limited. And “you”/”your”/”yours” means you, the direct client.



2. BOOKING CLASSES

The cost of each class/course/workshop will be shown clearly on the online timetable. Classes must be paid for at the time of booking. Bookings for classes can be made up to 14 days in advance via the online timetable on the website. In some cases we may also be able to accept bookings over the phone or in person at our premises. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have made your booking and submitted payment correctly. Please ensure you checkin at reception to confirm your attendance and avoid any relevant late cancellation (no show) fees.


3. PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

Payments can be made online, over the phone or in person at Slice Studios. Please note the expiration date of the product you purchase. Once a purchase has been made, refunds and transfers are not permitted. In some circumstances, account credits may be made and later redeemed in the way of classes, workshops, or other service Slice Studios may offer.


​4. CANCELLING YOUR BOOKING

 

If you're no longer able to make the class, please visit the "My Info" area of your account as soon as possible and select "My Schedule" to log the cancellation so that your space can be offered to another student. Under our 12 -hour cancellation policy, a £5 fee will be applied for late cancellations (for unlimited packages, unlimited memberships and into offer clients) or the full value of the class will be forfeited (for all other clients) . Cancellations must be made online at least 12 HOURS prior to class. Please manage your bookings online to help ensure others who are waitlisted have time to join their allocated slot.

 

5. MAKING A CHANGE TO YOUR BOOKING

You may change your booking for a class, without charge up to 12 hours before the start of your class/course/workshop that you have booked. You may change or cancel a class booking online, by phone, e-mail, or in person at the studio.



6. IF WE CANCEL YOUR BOOKING

In the event that we cancel a class or classes that you have booked, we will contact you by email or telephone to let you know. It is your responsibility to ensure that your contact details are up-to-date in our records. Whenever available, at the time of cancellation we will offer you the choice between:


1. having your SLICE ACCOUNT re-credited with the price of the cancelled class; or
2. being transferred to a class at an alternative date and time.



7. BOOKING CONFIRMATION

Your booking is not complete until you have received a booking confirmation from us. Please make sure you receive a booking confirmation before you attend the class. If you do not receive confirmation please contact us by phone, e-mail, or in person through the receptionist on duty. Prices are subject to change at any time before we accept your booking. All classes are offered by us subject to availability. We do not guarantee availability at any time.

8. COMPENSATION

We will compensate you for any loss or damage you may suffer as a result of a breach of the duties imposed on us by law. Our liability to you may be mitigated to the extent the loss or damage is attributed to:
 

1. your own fault;
2. a third party unconnected with the provision of our services; or
3. events which we could not have foreseen or avoided even if we had taken all of the responsible precautions

 

Our liability to compensate you will to a reasonable amount with regard to factors as whether the loss or damage was due to a negligent act or omission by us as we are fully committed to doing everything we can to look after you and help you look after yourself during your time with us.

9. MEMBERSHIPS 

All Slice memberships have a 3 months minimum commitment and will auto renew on a monthly basis thereafter. To cancel your membership we require a 1 month written notice - please email hello@slicefitness.co.uk

Privacy Policy

Slice Studios is the trading name of Slice Republic Limited. This Privacy Policy sets out our privacy practices. Please take the time to review this policy carefully as it tells you how your personal information will be treated by us. ï»¿By using any facility of Slice Studios and our services, you unconditionally agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. Slice Studios aims to offer you the best possible internet experience. Consequently, additional functions, features, products or services are incorporated into website. This, and our commitment to protecting the privacy of your personal information, may result in periodic changes to this Privacy Policy. As a result, please remember to refer back to this Privacy Policy regularly to review any amendments. We collect and use personal information in order to:

  • Administer your accounts and subscriptions with us;

  • Process orders, payments or applications submitted by you;

  • Customise the service we provide to you;

  • Administrate or carry out obligations in relation to any agreement you have with us including any subscription to our service;

  • Verify your identity (Ex: in the event you are a competition winner or to reserve your class space);

  • Anticipate and resolve problems with any services supplied to you;

  • Carry out market research and tracking of sales data;

  • Send you information about our services if you have chosen to receive such information;

We need to collect and process personal information about you (including your name, a user name, gender, birth date, and, in connection with your password, an answer to a question that only you would know). We may ask you for this information through our Site, or via one of our telephone operators or when you visit our studio. Certain information is collected automatically, as described later in this Privacy Policy. Although we do not make it compulsory to give us every item of information we ask for, the more information you volunteer (and the more accurate it is), the better we can tailor our services for you. Slice Studios will not share your data with any third party other than those utilised to service our business.

 

Third party sites

We cannot be responsible for the privacy policies and practices of other websites even if you access them using links from our Sites and recommend that you check the policy of each site you visit.



Log files and IP addresses

When you visit our site, we may automatically log your IP address (the unique address which identifies your computer on the internet) which is automatically 

recognised by our web server. We use IP addresses to help us administer the Site and to collect broad demographic information for aggregate use.



Website Cookies Policy (yummy!)

Cookies are used by your browser while you are viewing a website. Tracking/user analysis cookies allows us to see how many people are visiting this site using a third party service (Google Analytics) to do so. This tracking system is anonymised and therefore it does not know who you are, it just uses the limited information available to it (via cookies). You have the ability to accept or decline cookies, although limiting the use of cookies may limit your online experience. Non-personal information

We may automatically collect non-personal information about you such as the type of internet browsers you use or the site from which you linked to our Sites. You cannot be identified from this information and it is only used to assist us in providing an effective service on our Sites. We may from time to time supply the owners or operators of third party sites from which it is possible to link to our Sites with information relating to the number of users linking to our Sites from their sites. You cannot be identified from this information.

 

Information placed on your computer

We may store some information (commonly known as a cookie) on your computer when you look at our site. This information facilitates your use of our Sites and helps us to provide you with the best level of service. You can erase or block cookies from your computer if you want to (your help screen or manual should tell you how to do this), but certain Slice Studios services may not work correctly if you set your browser not to accept cookies.



Improving our service

If you have agreed that we can, staff from Slice Studios may contact you from time to time by e-mail or by telephone in order to get your feedback on the service we provide to you.



Information about products and services

It is very important to us that we provide you with the highest level of service. In order to help us do this, where you have agreed to receive such information, from time to time we may send you details of products and services which we think may be of interest to you.



Keeping our records accurate

We aim to keep our information about you as accurate as possible. If you would like to review or change the details you have supplied us with, you may do so at any time simply contact us. If you have another query relating to your information, please contact us by phone or email.



Disclosing your information to others

Other than the disclosures referred to in this policy, we will not disclose any personal information without your permission unless we are legally entitled or obliged to do so (for example, if required to do so by Court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime). Our policy is not to sell or share data.
