At Slice we believe in challenging both the mind and the body. Rest assured that class sizes are limited to ensure the personal experience is never diluted. Our class offerings rotate regularly so please let us know of anything below you'd like to see back on the timetable. ​'80s/'90s/Pop/Dance Aerobics

A lively cardio and toning class with standing and floor-based exercises, set to a playlist of pure classics. Repay your debt to the past with familiar, easy-to-follow moves that will nearly let you forget you're working out. Bring your runners & your smiles!

Abs Attack

Abs attack targets core and back muscles safely and progressively, coaching the right technique at the right pace. It is a great work out that will strengthen the whole abdominal muscles, improve posture and relieve the majority of the back pain. This class is not suitable for pregnant ladies at any stage.

Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga yoga is a traditional style of yoga which uses positions weaved into an energetic sequence designed to build up stamina, strength and flexibility in the body.

 

Ballet Bootcamp

Develop lean abs, firm glutes, sculpted legs, strong arms, perfect posture-and a dancer's grace and poise. Professional Dancer Daisy Giddings, Licientiate Teacher with the International Dance Teachers Association and Royal Academy of Dance developed this programme after teaching both Dance and Pilates to her clients and realising the amazing benefits of this beautiful blend of art and fitness.

 

Barre Conditioning - A Slice Specialty!

This conditioning class uses high repetition and full-range movements to develop lean muscles. The challenge begins by training upper and lower body with a focus on posture and core strength, and ends with a focus on flexibility, balance and overall wellbeing. Give your best and achieve a leaner, stronger body with greater range of movement.

 

Barre Workout

​This class is designed to lengthen, strengthen, align and tone the body with dance-inspired exercises at the barre, for anybody seeking a dancer's body. Unlike most barre classes, you won't be using equipment; it's all about the body. Wear socks or slippers!



Basic Pilates

Strip classical Pilates back to its core, essential principles. Light equipment is used to support all levels of experience. Modifications are applied to ensure challenge and/or support. Build core strength and posture. This class is suitable for mums-to-be.

 

Bikini Body Workout

This incredible 1.5hr session combines high-energy fat-melting cardio with a body-strengthening complete workout, focusing on toning those all-important bums, legs and tums. Leave each session feeling sweaty, toned and 100% body confident!

The workout will end with a well deserved stretching session, lengthening those muscles you have just worked hard, and leaving you feeling relaxed and ready for your holiday!

 

Body Scuplting with Kettlebells
Kettlebells offer a different kind of training using dynamic moves targeting almost every aspect of fitness – endurance, strength, balance, agility and cardio endurance.

Kettlebell training is a high-intensity, ballistic workout guaranteed to make you sweat! 

 

Bootcamp
The perfect all-around workout, including fat-burning, core conditioning, full body toning, stretching & more! This class is outdoors, weather permitting, otherwise inside.

 

Booty Barre

Booty Barre is an offshoot from original barre methods which combine yoga, Pilates and dance to lengthen and strengthen overall physique. Exercises require you to hold poses or postures for an extended amount of time. Pilates balls are used to enhance the burn.

 

Bounce Dance Fit

in Bounce DanceFit is a fantastic high energy fitness dance workout that incorporates the latest hip hop & commercial hits along with different styles of dance. Dance styles covered include Hip Hop, Waacking, House and Vogue. It's a total body workout, incorporating dance, cardio, body conditioning and flexibility.

 

Box Fit

Train like a Boxing champion! A full on cardio conditionig workout, incorporating boxing punching techniques and interval training sessions: burn it baby!

 

Cardio Tone Mix

Have fun with this mix-it-up cardio class. This is a fabulous and energetic workout involves high and low impact aerobics moves to develop your cardiovascular system followed by series of toning exercises on legs, bums and tums (LBT). Each week the class will focus on a set of muscles - suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

 

Cardio Conditioning

A high intensity class combining a wide range of movements to provide full body cardio. This fast paced class is designed to improve fitness levels and break a sweat. Come along for a fun and dynamic workout that will keep you moving from start to finish.

 

Cycle to the Beat​

Yes, you can dance on a bike! Our Cycle to Beat class involves 45 minutes of indoor cycling to your favorite tunes. Jumps, sprints and hills while you ride to catchy music (singing along highly encouraged), with the help of disco lights to create an energising atmosphere to keep you going and work to your limits!

 

Dance Fit

Get your groove on and let the instructor take you on a journey fusing a variety of dance styles. This 45 minute dance class offers a constant cardio workout that will keep you sweating in style!

 

Dynamic Pilates

A holistic exercise programme to rebalance and fine-tune your body using light equipment, delivering a modern style of pilates, without deviating from the foundational principles of Pilates. Improve strength, flexibility, posture and stamina.

 

Flow Yoga / Candlelight Yoga

​This dynamic yoga class will start with sun salutations, move onto standing sequences, seated postures and floor work and finish with gentle back bends, synchronising breath with movement. This is a fun and dynamic class offering variations for all levels of ability.

​

Fighting Fit

Time for some serious cardio! In this non-contact boxing class, you will get an intense full body workout to help you burn fat, de-stress and get an injection of self-confidence.

​

 

Kettlebell Bootcamp

The perfect all-around workout, including fat-burning, core conditioning, full body toning, cardio, stretching and more!

 

Maternally Fit

Maternally Fit is for pregnant ladies and new Mums. Fit for Birth is an exercise class specific to the needs of pregnant and post-natal women, consisting of cardiovascular fitness and also strength and core training. All classes are taught by Physiotherapists.

 

Mum and Baby Bootcamp

The perfect all-round workout including fat-burning, core conditioning, full body toning, stretching & more! This class is normally outdoors - but indoors when the weather is too wet or cold! All abilities and also babies in their buggy are welcome in class, but not required. Otherwise onsite creche is available.

 

Mum and Baby Pilates (Infants are welcome, but not required to join)

A holistic exercise programme to re-balance and fine tune your body, this class helps improve strength, flexibility, posture and stamina. All abilities and also babies up to 8 months are welcome in class, but not required. Otherwise onsite creche is available.

 

Mum and Baby Yoga

This yoga-based baby class is for parents to attend with their little ones. It’s a fun class with songs, baby massage and yoga positions for both adult and child. No previous yoga experience is needed. It is suitable for babies from 6 weeks until approximately 8 months.

New to Yoga

An ideal class for those new to Yoga or who would like to refiine their technique. This is an alignment focused class designed to cultivate confidence on the Yoga mat and to gently build strength and flexibility. Expect to leave the class feeling released and relaxed and ready to take your practice to the next level.

 

Pilates Fusion'

This mat-based class laces dynamic pilates flow movements with low-impact barefoot cardio-intervals to target hard-to-reach areas. Challenge your core, balance, strengthen and stretch to electronic grooves. Some movements will be standing, others seated.

 

PoundFit

POUND is a full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometrics and Isometric poses into a 45-minute series. Burn between 400 and 900+ calories per hour, strengthen and sculpt infrequently used muscles, and drum your way to a leaner, slimmer physique – all while rocking out to your favourite music!

 

Power Pilates

This mat-based workout mixes light equipment and strong body weight exercises with an emphasis on high-repetition to get the heart pumping. Classical Pilates methods improve strength and posture in the core, toning and enhancing quality of movement.

Power Yoga​

​This powerful yet playful Vinyasa flow class uses ever-changing music & sequences to ensure there's a challenge in sight. Hands-on assistance helps raise awareness of breath and alignment and mind-body connection. Yoga is more than just an anatomical practice, providing space for spirituality, freedom and love, and the opportunity to evolve.

Pregnancy Pilates

​Regular pilates during pregnancy helps facilitate the return to pre-pregnancy physique following the birth of your baby whilst helping to safeguard you against continence and prolapse. This class focuses on breathing and gentle stretching while strengthening the deep abdominal, back, arm and pelvic floor muscles. Suitable for all stages of pregnancy



Pregnancy Yoga​

This Prenatal Yoga class is for active mothers-to-be.  Stay connected to your changing body by building flexibility and strength of body and mind. A holistic approach of Proper exercise, proper breathing and proper relaxation will help you approach the birth with confidence and calm. A fusion of classical Hatha Yoga and “Birthlight” techniques.

Restore

Make yourself new! Inspiring and energising music accompanies you through mindfulness, stretching and mobilisations to restore and energise your body and mind.

 

Ride to the 80's

A 45 minutes energising indoor cycling session to your favourite 80's tunes! Class open to all levels. 

 

Rise and Spin

Best way to start your day, the Spin way! Grab your Spinning bike and get ready to start your ride to a fitter you. An uplifting soundtrack and disco lights will create an energizing atmosphere to help you through your sprints, climbs and jumps. Class open to all levels. 

 
​Rocket Yoga 

Dive into the original Power Yoga and leave the hierarchy of postures behind. Deepen your practice with inversions and arm balances in the Primary/Intermediate Series.

 

Run and Yoga

A class of 2 halves! This class will start with a 30 mins group run outdoors. The instructor will lead you at a steady and comfortable pace before taking you back to the studio for another 30 mins of dynamic yoga to stretch out the muscles, tone and build core strength. Prams welcome on the run! Option to join for one or both parts of the class. *On rainy days, this class will be 1 hour dynamic yoga class.

 

​Sculpt 

Get fit quickly using a range of training styles from tabata to circuits. This whole body workout uses hand weights and body weight to reveal an inner sleek, toned physique. You're sure to burn calories and improve strength in this resistance-focused class.​ ï»¿

 

Slice HIIT

Slice HIIT (High intensity interval training) is a type of cardio training in which you alternate short, very high intensity intervals with longer, slower intervals. This class is a total body, heart pumping, aerobic and strength conditioning worrkout that not only helps performance but also improves the ability of the muscles to burn fat. This 30 minute class is based in our PT suite using various gym equipment.

 

Stretch & Core

This 45 minutes class will engage your mind as well as your muscles! Blending elements of yoga, Pilates and body conditioning, you will be building strength and flexibility through a focus on posture, core stability and body alignment.

 

Total Body Workout

Pump up the volume with a total body workout led by a personal trainer - a quick fix fitness class combining strength, cardio and flexibility with great tunes to set the mood.

 

Trampoline Rebounding

Bounce back to the past with this fun & full-on but low-impact cardio workout! Hop on your own personal trampoline (provided for the class) and prepare yourself for total rejuvenation - you'll strengthen, cleanse and tone every cell in the body.

Yin & Yang Yoga

This class is the perfect balance of  Power Vinyasa Yoga (Yang) and Gentle Yin Yoga, which will give you a great cardiovascular workout, calm your mind, relax and ground your body and lengthen your muscles and deep connective tissue.

Veraflow

VeraFlow is a dance based stretch class incorporating mindfulness meditation.Dance, stretch and find your true flow in this class like none other you have ever experienced. VeraFlow is just what you need to feel completely relaxed and content. Find your true flow in body and mind as you stretch your body and train your mind to the rhythm of the music.
You'll leave feeling like you've had a full body massage, with your muscles strengthened yet relaxed and loose.

 

Warrior Sculpt

Warrior Sculpt

Warrior Sculpt combines Yoga with strength and cardio training. This high-energy class will tone, lengthen and strengthen your entire body using traditional Yoga poses and sequences. In Warrior Sculpt you take Yoga one-step further by adding light weights and it is a perfect format for all levels and newbies. This unique class challenges the participants to explore their edge of strength, balance and flexibility. You will leave feeling stronger, more energetic and de-stressed from body and mind.
